During the past 20 years I have been actively involved in the Fitness industry. Over that time I have had the pleasure of training many clients of all ages. I have had the opportunity to teach numerous group exercise and Pilates lessons. Through out the years I have enjoyed leading a variety of fitness events and workshops. I am strongly committed to the vast wonderful world of Pilates, Fitness and Health. My passion and belief is that an active well rounded lifestyle is the key to vitality and health. Jump In!

Krystina Simes
I began practicing yoga at the age of 13 with the intention of improving my technique in ballet and other forms of dance. Upon my first yoga class, which was classical Hatha, I immediately felt the supportive and gentle energy; something lacking in the competitive environment of dance. I have since approached many differrent styles of yoga including Ashtanga / Mysore, Vinyasa, Yin and Anusara. The most valuable lesson I have learned through the years of consistent practice & study within all schools of Yoga is how to honor the present moment; to humble the ego & make space for compassion on & off the mat.

Although my background is Fijian, I was born and raised in beautiful British Columbia. I attended Burnaby Central Secondary School where I was known not only for my sense of humor and friendliness, but also for my enthusiasm for sports and active living. I recently graduated from Capilano College from the faculty of Human Kinetics, and I am currently attending the University of British Columbia where I am studying nutrition. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing soccer, working out, and reading.

Catherine Merlin
Catherine has been practicing Hatha Yoga for nine years now and everyday is another learning experience! She has studied with The Wandering Yogi, Shakti Mih, Bernie Clark and Fiona Stang in Vancouver, and also drifted to India to experience life as a yogini full time at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre! Catherine enjoys particularly teaching to beginners and sharing her enthusiasm for Yoga practice.Â
She calls her students her "Happy yogis"! In the summer she likes to teach on the lawn outside in the garden.
